In 2018, they wrote that the Vosco S106 model has already passed testing. The manufacturer then received approval to produce 1,000 vehicles per year. The car, although it was created according to the project of Polish engineers, used many elements borrowed from General Motors, including a 1.4 liter 90 hp engine. from. and the dashboard (it was from Opel Adama).
A year later, the FSO introduced an electric version of this model, simply called the S106EV. It differs from the diesel grade in fact only in a modified grill and taillights. The company announced its creation much earlier, because already in 2017.
Another new information from the FSO came in April 2019 when the company announced that it was working on a new version of the S106EV model. Graphics were presented showing a noticeably changed style, and assured that we will see the car next year. Therefore, we contacted the manufacturer to find out how the modernization work is progressing and what we can expect from its new release.
As Andrey Stasyak, the chief designer of the project, told Interii, despite the obstacles caused by the epidemic, work is constantly going on, and no later than the end of the year we will see the new Vosco S106EV. In fact, five copies have already been released, but they currently serve to test and give the project a final shade.
